Blair Lee

Blair Lee M.S. is the founder of SEA Homeschoolers and author for the critically
acclaimed R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey Series. Blair has been handcrafting the
education of her non-linear thinker for over 11 years. During that time, she has
learned as much about how learning happens from him as he has learned from
her. Blair is a passionate advocate of innovative academics using secular materials.
Through her speaking and writing, her goal is to empower homeschoolers to dare to
be innovative and create something unique and academically-rich when handcrafting

How Science Is Best Learned
Too often academic subjects are presented from the standpoint of how material is
best taught not how it is best learned. The difference when the focus is on best
learning practices instead of best teaching practices is profound for the learner.
It changes the learner’s relationship learning. Join science author and educator,
Blair Lee, for this talk about how science is best learned.

How to design a unique, eclectic, academic class for your child
There are real benefits to handcrafting a course of study for your child. It leads to a
love of learning and helps your child develop an understanding of how he or she
learns. This talk will discuss strategies and tips you can use to design and document
a course of study using innovative and eclectic approaches.

Travel and Service projects as a part of your homeschooling journey
This is something that has been a cornerstone of our homeschooling journey. In this
talk, I will discuss how to choose projects that work for you, how to do this even on a
limited budget, and how to document what you have done so that it shines through as
the unique and special learning adventure that it is.

Graduation 2018

Graduate at the Expo!  The graduation ceremony will take place on Sunday at (time to be
announced).  A reception with refreshments will follow the ceremony.  There will also be
a graduation meeting and graduation rehearsal on Sunday, (times to be announced).

The CHN Expo Graduation is a beautiful experience for the entire family.
